Twenty-eight
year old Salah Kurdi was born in Kuwait and raised in Lebanon
in a talented musical family. All of Salah’s brothers and sisters sing and play musical instruments. In fact, two of
Salah’s brothers, Ali Kurdi and Mustafa Kurdi are professional keyboard players and have inspired Salah’s dream
to become a musician.
At the age
of 16, Salah discovered he had a strong passion for music and began playing keyboard and singing along side his brothers.
At the age of 20, Salah became a professional and profound keyboard player and had the opportunity to play with the famous
singer George Wassouf. A year later, Salah moved to United States of America, to continue his education in Boston,
MA. During this time, Salah decided
to pursue his singing career in the Boston area and in a very short time became well known in the Middle Eastern music business
throughout the US and Canada.
In 2003, Salah went on tour with
the famous singer “Kazem El Saher” as a keyboard player, vocalist and band leader assistant. Salah received
a great musical respect from Kazem El Saher, who predicted Salah to a “Bright Future” in his singing and music
career. In the same year, Salah went on tour with the famous romantic singer “Fadel Shaker” as a singer
and keyboard player touring around the US and Canada. After the tour, Salah and Fadel became good friends and Salah discovered
that he had a passion for writing and composing songs. He was honored to write
and compose a song for Fadel Shaker’s latest CD in 2006 “Kint Mfakker”. His love for composing music led him to create more songs for singers such as Ziad
Borji in 2006 CD “Min Albi Wrohi”, Nay “Tigrah Fiyah”, Dani Nour in 2006 CD “Bil Lebnany”. This song, “Bil Lebnany” was the first Arabic song to feature three different
